Our first conversation with Jermaine on our podcast about 6 months ago was so so good that we just knew we needed to pick his brain some more for you all! Welcome back to our friend and Becky’s trading mentor Jermaine for another discussion with the mamas.

In this go around, we start by delving deeper into Jermaine’s experience as a mentor within a day trading community. We’re curious about the most common tendencies of traders who have not yet achieved consistency and his best tips for us on those topics. We specifically talk more about the risks of over trading and the many implications of that behavior.

And as Jermaine has been a successful day trader now for many years, we asked more about his pre-trading routine and hard rules for himself that must be centered before he will entertain executing a trade. Want the be the best at something - learn from the greats! That is our approach with interviewing Jermaine for sure. It was especially valuable getting more into the discussion of maintaining patience and focus at market open so that our minds can be neutral and curious to wait for ideal entries and our trade plan criteria to be met.

And as this was a June episode, it was great to discuss his experience being a dad trader and how that influences his days. Special shout out to all the amazing Market Dadas we love and trade along side during this Father’s Day season! As we are all parents, we also talk about how he is thinking regarding exposing and training our children into the world of trading from youth. If you are a parent trader, you have likely pondered this as well.

You have to check out this full interview for all the gems. It was really such a personable and open discussion that we enjoyed having and we know you will find great value with!

Welcome back Jermaine! As a consistently profitable full time trader and dedicated day trading coach, we learn so much from him with every interaction. Wisdom like this is earned from time, effort, focus and experience.
