In this Market Mamas interview, we dig into the experiences and growth of a friend whom trades similarly to us with intraday futures trading. Phil and Kendra were friends in the baking industry years ago and recently reconnected upon discovering that they both had gotten into day trading. Through our conversation, we discovered that there are so many similarities with our trading journeys! Phil has also learned the hard way about the significant psychological hurdles of becoming a day trader, but likewise has fallen in love with trading regardless, just as we have!

We gain energy from and find solace in conversations with fellow early to middle growth day traders. These discussions help us to normalize our experiences in this arena, as most people who do not actively day trade do not truly understand what we are going through in this endeavor. When we can share knowledge, lessons, and celebrate each other’s milestones together, that community atmosphere adds some peace and comfort to a fairly adventurous and at times volatile pursuit. Phil was such a wonderful guest for us, as he really nicely articulates his lessons, how he learned them, and how he has chosen to push himself to higher heights.
