Our 100th Episode! Life, Trading & Podcasting
You guys! It was a long time coming for Becky & Kendra to hang out in person again, with the last time being our cruise together in May of 2024. As you know, Becky lives near Portland, OR, and Kendra lives in Northern California. In mid October though, we both traveled to sunny San Francisco to catch up in person and get some quality time with our extended trading family. No one understands trading like a trader does, especially day trading. So, when we can get together with awesome friends who speak that language, it is always a great time and this was no different!
After a delicious, fresh lobster lunch, we went for afternoon cocktails at this super cute venue in San Francisco to kick off the weekend! Cheers!
So many of the pictures we use for Market Mamas thumbnails and blogs are selfies, lol. We are busy mamas and are often the ones behind the camera. But on this trip, we hired an excellent photographer, Victoria, from the bay area and had the best time being photographed for images to primarily be used for Market Mamas work! We did this photo shoot at the gorgeous San Francisco Botanical Gardens so the beautiful scenery around us while we posed was a win win.
After our photo shoot, a unique opportunity presented! Recording in person is such a rare treat and as we were preparing for this trip, we realized that the next episode we would record would be our 100th! It was meant to be that we could record just this episode in person together!! As Kendra was driving us across the bay area and we were chatting about just this topic, how far we have come in the past year, Becky had the great idea to turn on her camera! So it was a spur of the moment live conversation episode for us.
