How it’s going 5 months into Market Mamas!
It has happened so fast!! We have been at this podcasting game for 5 months now! In that time, we have learned a crazy amount about the ins and outs of this world, what works, what could be better, what our individual strong suits are, and how to most effectively deliver our messages. We are day traders and that is the driving energy behind the topics we discuss and the listeners we want to reach and support. It has been such a labor of love for us - with every episode we really consider our experience with each topic, our lessons that have benefited us the most, and openly share our journeys around all of it. So, we wanted to take a minute, 5 months in, to ask for your feedback on what you all find benefit in and would like more or less of! With the logistics of creating a podcast, there is a lot to learn there. Equipment that you need is truly such a small part of the picture! Much bigger for us to learn has been how to speak to best convey a point, what to script and what to just speak and accept how it comes out, how to grow our speaking skills and cut our the little tendencies to throw in unnecessary words in a sentence, such as ‘like’ and ‘you know!’ Over the past 5 months, there has definitely been improvement, so that is exciting to see!
So many fun ways we have learned to support each other over time! Such as our meme battles when one of us is feeling any kind of way. This injection of humor can be so distracting and uplifting!

No one is perfect, certainly not us. But we are determined and speak to you all from that place. Progress over perfection energy all the way up! It is from this perspective that we are so excited for another Market Mamas trip in a couple weeks! Kendra and Becky are taking a Mexico Cruise to breathe, soak up some sun, work together in person which is so rare for us, and celebrate all we have built thus far as a dynamic duo! This trip is at Kendra’s birthday and our 6 month anniversary of creating Market Mamas. We are so grateful for all we have learned and grown and are excited to take this time to appreciate that expansion, make some great memories, and strategically plan in person for our next 6 months!
Five months into our podcast this week is another Market Mamas milestone as well! We just launched our Merch Store!!! We decided there is no better time to plant a tree than this moment! We put hours and hours of work into designing custom high quality products and the online store creation to offer what we love for our people - you guys! These clothing items, drinkware, accessories and stationary are really the things that we wear and use daily, but in fully MM style. Thank you all so much for supporting us and helping us to support women. Yes, it was important to Kendra and Becky that even though we are small, we will donate 5% of every purchase to our local women’s nonprofit support center. This is something that is near and dear to our hearts - the support and elevation of all women. So, truly, we thank you very much for your support!
Stick with us, we are only getting better and are here with the major aim to serve and support everyone likewise pushing your boundaries and striving for the best out of this world! We can do it. May the seeds we plant and water this year create the most glorious blossoms!
