Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter was such a great read!! Author Curtis Jackson, aka 50 Cent, really elaborates on the business success he has built for himself in quite an impressive and intriguing manner. There are some killer stories and messages in his book that we can’t wait to tell you all about!

In this book, he lays out many lessons from his dramatic and complicated life and offers hard-earned advice on embracing change. I love how he used the experience of his youth coming up in queens and the rap industry to adjust and see so many similarities in the people and situations that arose in business! His message was clear with many awesome examples - Don’t live in fear, but instead hold your head high, be honest and strong no matter what you encounter, use strategy and accept no less than everything you are willing to earn!
One common theme throughout this book is Jackson’s strength with never giving up! He states “I’ll be hustling for the rest of my life” and “No time for a defeatist mindset, I’ll get it back on the next one.” We love those so much! Really spoke to us in terms of day trading. It is an uphill climb that you really never will get to the ultimate top of. Just next hurdle after next hurdle in the pursuit of the best that we can!
Grit and determination are personal qualities that have kept us in the game with our day trading! Curtis refers to this with the quote: “Success represents 1% percent of your work, which only results from 99% of your failures.” We have learned to embrace failures as the building blocks to success. By getting into the arena every day, no matter how bloody we may end a day, for sure, we always learned that day. It is making us stronger! Just another killer analogy with what Curtis talks about in this definite must-read recommendation!
